Mihir Bholey

印度国家设计学院(NID)跨学科设计研究教授,位于印度甘地讷格尔的PG校区科学与文理学院的统筹专员。作为社会科学博士与文学硕士,Mihir Bholey博士专注于人文与社会科学领域的跨学科教学。跨文化设计、公共政策与设计是他的研究兴趣范围。广泛地在国际及印度国内刊物、书籍、研究期刊上发表文章,并出版三本著作。曾多次受邀在印度、东南亚及欧洲教学、演讲。热爱诗歌,用英语及印地语进行诗歌创作。

Dr. Mihir Bholey is Associate Senior Faculty of Interdisciplinary Design Studies and Coordinator of PG Science and Liberal Arts at National Institute of Design, PG Campus, Gandhinagar, India. He holds his PhD in Social Science and Master’s in Humanities (English Literature). Dr. Bholey teaches subjects covering the interdisciplinary area of Humanities and Social Sciences. Cross-cultural case studies of design and Public Policy and Design are his areas of research interest. He’s a prolific writer and has extensively written and published in various national and international publications, books and research journals, he has also three books to his credit. He is invited to teach and deliver lecture and seminars at premier foreign and Indian institutions in South-east Asia and Europe. He loves poetry and writes poems in English and Hindi.


Prathana Borah

尼赫鲁发展基金会下属CEE环境教育中心资深项目协调。在过去16年中,Prarthana Borah始终致力于环境可持续发展的教育与传播工作。最近5年来,她专注于整合文化遗产作为可持续发展与教育的资源,并尝试将艺术与环境教育连接起来。她是CEE与印度文化部合作的一项国家级项目的协调人,通过在全国年轻人中做调研来探索“非物质文化遗产”在印度语境中的概念。同时也是“Parampara”项目的负责人,以纪录片和出版的方式使非物质文化遗产得以保存与延续(www.paramparaproject.org)。

Prarthana Borah is Senior Programme Coordinator of Culture and Sustainability Programme in Centre for Environment Education, New Delhi, India. She has been involved in Education and Communication for the Environment and Sustainable Development for the last 16 years. In the past five years she has been focusing on integration Cultural Heritage as a resource for Education for Sustainable Development. She is also trying to link Arts in Environmental Education. She was responsible for coordinating a national project for the Indian Ministry of Culture by CEE which involved exploring the concept of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in the Indian context by conducting a survey among youth of the country. She has also been project leader in the Parampara Project, a Project for documenting efforts towards conserving ICH. The latter has resulted in development of a website www.paramparaproject.org, a report on the status and a catalogue with over 150 entries of efforts to conserve ICH in India. The project also attempts to link ICH with Sustainability.


Rajeev Lochan

新德里国家现代艺术画廊馆长。作为一位艺术实践者,Lochan教授毕业于印度巴罗达Maharaja Sayajirao大学美术学院创意绘画专业。自1980年代起陆续成为印度国家美术院学者、印度教育与文化部国家级专家。1985-1987年间荣获日本政府文部省颁发的研究奖金,此后又于1994年荣获日本政府研究奖金,于1997年荣获印度人力资源发展部高级研究奖金。自2001年起,Rajeev Locha教授担任印度国家现代艺术画廊馆长至今。

Prof. Rajeev Lochan, Director, National Gallery of Modern Art, has been at the helm of affairs since 2001. A practicing artist, Prof. Lochan graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S University of Baroda with a specialization in Creative Painting. He remained a U.P. Lalit Kala Akademi Cultural Scholar (1987) and was a National Scholar(1980) of the Union Ministry of Education and Culture. He was a recipient of the Japanese Government, Monbusho, Research Scholarship (1985-87). Subsequently he also received the Japanese Government Research Fellowship in 1994 and Senior Fellowship, Ministry of H.R.D., Dept. of Culture, Govt. of India (1997).


Bivash Mukherjee

具有20年报纸采编经验的资深记者,荣获2014年上海市“白玉兰纪念奖”。1999年来到中国,在上海工作、生活15年,目前担任英语报纸《上海日报》夜班发稿编辑部外国专家。在详尽了解印度诗人泰戈尔与上海的深厚渊源,并探访了泰戈尔在上海的故居现状之后,Bivash Mukherjee不仅在《上海日报》发表了两个专版的独家特稿,还参与制作了关于泰戈尔在上世纪20年代访问中国的一部纪录短片《东方之旅》。影片在上海作协、北京印度大使馆以及孟买的ORF基金会、新德里播放。随后登陆美国、新加坡以及香港艺术中心。影片还作为上海外语频道的一档特别节目《寻找泰戈尔》播出,受到了广泛好评。在卢湾区(现黄浦区)的支持下,印度驻上海总领事馆在茂名路南昌路口为泰戈尔树立了一座雕像。

A journalist with over 20 years of experience in newspaper reporting, editing and production. Headed newsroom desk for over 15 years in Thailand, Russia and China. Currently in Shanghai with an English-language daily, Shanghai Daily, as one of the senior night desk editors. Have been with the paper since its launch in 1999, and was recently awarded the Magnolia Silver Award by the Shanghai leadership. During his stay in Shanghai, he discovered a bit of India in the hidden pockets of the city. A chance discovery of a plaque in a quiet lane in Siming Village opposite the majestic Shanghai Exhibition Center helped him uncover the historic travels of Indian poet Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. It eventually led to the making of a short documentary film on the Indian poet's trips to China in the 1920s and his lifelong friendship with Chinese poet Xu Zhimo. The film Gurudev: A Journey To The East was screened at the Indian Embassy in Beijing, the Indian Consulate in Shanghai and the Shanghai Writers’ Association. It was also screened in India (at the ORF Foundation in Mumbai), New Delhi and internationally in the US, Singapore and in Hong Kong at the prestigious Hong Kong Arts Center.


Kirti Trivedi

1948年生于印度,原印度理工学院工业设计中心教授。在获得机械工程学位后,先后于印度理工学院、伦敦皇家艺术学院进行工业设计研究生专业的学习。1981年,他发起并创立了印度视觉传播领域第一个设计专业硕士课程,并于同年担任联合国教科文组织在日本的研究员。在杉浦康平教授的指导下,深入了解亚洲设计的深度与丰富性。自1984年以来,他致力于印度及亚洲各地经典传统设计的记录和研发工作,期间出版过多本关于印度传统设计的著作。此外,他还积极担任各设计领域的顾问,包括平面设计、画册设计、展览和博物馆设计、环境视觉设计、标识和产品设计。目前,他致力于研究开发能满足印度新兴技术并符合亚洲设计发展的互动设计方案。他是亚洲设计与艺术研究小组(ADARG)的创始人及总监,该小组的目标是记录与发表艺术和设计相关领域对亚洲传统的独特创见。

Former Professor at the Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay, Mumbai, Kirti Trivedi was born in India in 1948. After a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he did postgraduate studies in Industrial Design at IIT Bombay, and the Royal College of Art, London. He initiated and founded India’s first Master of Design Programme in Visual Communication in 1981. The same year, he worked as a UNESCO Fellow in Japan, under the guidance of Prof. Sugiura Kohei, and was introduced by him to the intellectual depth and the richness of Asian design. He has been engaged in research and documentation of the classical design traditions of India and Asia since 1984, with several publications on Indian design traditions. Besides teaching and researching design, he is active as a design consultant in the areas of graphic design, book design, exhibition and museum design, environmental graphics, signage and product design. His current research is in developing appropriate interaction design solutions for Indian needs based on emerging technology possibilities; and in understanding Asian design. He is the founder director of ADARG – Asian Design and Art Research Group – which has an objective of documenting and publishing the insights of Asian tradition in areas related to art and design.

陈韵Chen Yun

生长于上海,毕业于复旦大学新闻学院(文学士)和香港中文大学新闻与传播学院(哲学硕士)。毕业后,在上海和北京的当代艺术机构工作。先后在北京尤伦斯当代艺术中心教育部和展览部担任了两年工作之后,于2009年回沪。2010年3月起参与“西天中土”计划,担任研究员和项目执行人。

Born and raised in Shanghai, Chen Yun studied Journalism at Fudan University and got her MPhil degree in Communication at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has been working in contemporary art institutions since 2007 in Shanghai and Beijing. After working for two years at Ullens Center for Contemporary Art as assistant curator for art and education programs, she came back to Shanghai in 2009. Since March 2010, she joined the West Heavens as researcher and project manager.


崔峤Cui Qiao

北京当代艺术基金会(BCAF)理事长、宝马基金会中国代表、北京人文艺术中心馆长。毕业于德国柏林自由大学,获经济管理、艺术史、新闻媒体硕士学位。曾任柏林国际电影节中国选片代表、歌德学院(中国)公共关系部主任与文化项目部主任、尤伦斯当代艺术中心(UCCA)副馆长、德国墨卡托基金会中国顾问、文化部及欧盟委员会教育文化总司联合项目“中国欧盟政策对话”高级专家、中国欧盟高峰文化论坛嘉宾、中韩相生青年领袖论坛演讲嘉宾、北京国际设计周“中国设计挑战赛”评审等。

President of Beijing Contemporary Art Foundation, china representative of BMW Foundation, Director of Beijing Cultural and Arts Center. Born in 1970's. Cui Qiao received her Master’s degree from the Free University of Berlin in Economics Management, Art History, and Media. She has served on the selection committee for Chinese films for the Berlin International Film Festival, as director of the Public Relations Department and Cultural Projects Department of the Goethe Institute (China), vice-director of the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA), Chinese consultant of the Mercator-Stiftung in Germany, senior expert of the "EU-China Policy Dialogues" of the Ministry of Culture and EACEA, guest of the China-EU Culture Summit, guest lecturer of the Korean Youth Leadership Forum, and judge of the China Design Challenge of Beijing Design Week, among others.


龚彦Gong Yan

上海当代艺术博物馆馆长,《艺术世界》杂志主编。从法国巴黎高等美术学院毕业后,龚彦于2006年在故乡上海创立了“零时艺术中心”,致力于不稳定媒体和城市研究,为年轻艺术家和策展人提供平台。自2009年起,她接任中国历史最悠久的当代艺术杂志《艺术世界》主编一职,并创立国际艺术媒体交流项目“艺术知世界”,将法国《世界报》、德法ARTE艺术频道、瑞士《Parkett》、《Du》、德国《Detail》等重要国际文化艺术媒体推介给中国读者。2012年,龚彦被任命为中国大陆首个公立当代艺术博物馆馆长。她曾独立策划了《可实现的乌托邦——尤纳·弗莱德曼建筑展》(2007)、《普通建筑——第11届威尼斯建筑双年展中国馆》(2008)、《篠原一男》(2014)等展览,曾联合策划了《身体·媒体——国际互动艺术展》(2007)、《谜途:时间、空间、织毯》(2014)等展览。

Having graduated from the Ecole Nationale Sup^erieure des Beaux-arts de Paris, Gong Yan returned to Shanghai where she was born, and established the “O Art Center” in 2006. The O Art Center focuses on unstable media art and city research, and provides a dynamic platform for young talented artists and curators. From 2009 until present, Gong Yan has been acting as the editor-in-chief of the Art World magazine, which is the most influential contemporary art magazine in mainland China with a 35-year history. And she is also the founder of the international art media sharing platform “Page the world”, introducing most important art and cultural media such as Le Monde Diplomatique (France), Arte (Germany & France), Parkett (Switzerland), Du (Switzerland), Detail (Germany) to Chinese readers. In 2012, Gong Yan was appointed as the director of the Power Station of Art, the first public contemporary art museum in Mainland China.


黄姗Huang Shan

80后,艺术圈的资深专家与顾问。毕业于中国艺术研究院,获美术史硕士学位。曾担任香港Contrast Gallery北京分画廊经理,上海普陀区“桃浦大楼”大型跨界活动策划,北京电视台专业艺术栏目《画里画外》策划,文化部及欧盟委员会教育文化总司联合项目“中国-欧盟政策对话”独立专家。2008年,黄姗创办了颇具活力的艺术资讯平台“艺术眼”网站(www.artspy.cn),并担任执行董事至今。2013年加入北京当代艺术基金会(BCAF),任常务副理事长,专注于公共艺术与公共空间的对话研究以及艺术品全产业链研究。

Born in 1980, Huang Shan is the senior expert and consultant in Chinese contemporary art field. She was graduated from the Graduate School of Chinese National Academy of Arts with a master degree. And was the manager of the Beijing branch of Contrast Gallery, Hong Kong. She organized the large-scale crossover activity “Taopu Building” in Putuo District, Shanghai, and worked for the professional public art education program All About Art of Beijing TV as a planner, and was the expert of the "EU-China Policy Dialogues" of the Ministry of Culture and EACEA. In 2008, she founded www.artspy.cn, and has been the executive director till now. Since 2013, Huang Shan has become the Executive Vice-President of Beijing Contemporary Art Foundation, focusing on the dialogue between public art and public space, and the research of art industrial chain.


刘家琨Liu Jiakun

家琨建筑设计事务所主持建筑师。主持设计的作品被选送参加德中文化年、法中文化年、荷兰NAI中国当代建筑展、俄中文化年及威尼斯建筑双年展等多个国际展览及国内展览。曾获得亚洲建协荣誉奖、2003年中国建筑艺术奖、建筑实录中国奖、远东建筑奖、中国建筑学会建筑创作大奖,作品被《A+U》、《AV》、《Area》、《Domus》、《MADE IN CHINA》、《AR》、《GA》等出版,并应邀在麻省理工学院、英国皇家艺术学院、巴黎夏佑宫及中国多所大学开办讲座。

Founder, principle architect of Jiakun Architects. Founded in 1999, Jiakun Architects’ design aims to deal with contemporary architectural issues with a sense of realism - an approach inspired by folk wisdom. With a faith in the compatibility of traditions and realties, Jiakun Architects has been devoted itself to translate oriental cultural essence into contemporary architectural language. Its projects were selected by "Chinese Young Architects’ Work Exhibition" in Germany, "Chinese Contemporary Architecture Exhibition" in France, "NAI China Contemporary Architecture", "International Architecture Exhibition" in Russia, and "International Architecture Exhibition" in Venice Biennalem, etc. Liu Jiakun has received several domestic and international awards - the Honor Prize of the 7th ARCASIA, Chinese Architecture & Art Prize 2003, Architectural Record Magazine China Awards, Far East Award in Architecture and Architectural Design Award from Architectural Society of China, Audi Arts Design Award, etc.

彭与陈Peng&Chen

彭与陈(彭杨军与陈皎皎)是一对艺术家组合。曾工作于意大利著名创意传播中心Fabrica,任国际视觉人文杂志《COLORS》主编、创意总监,是该杂志历史上唯一来自亚洲的主脑。目前,他们是中国最具影响力的创意杂志《新视线》的主编与创意总监,带领《新视线》多次荣获亚洲出版协会最佳专题、最佳生活方式报道、最佳设计、最佳摄影等奖项。他们也是互联网社会化生活美学平台“良仓”的创始人。曾担任2012年大声展、2013年Good Design设计周主策展人,并为华尔街日报中国创新奖、亚太摄影奖、Foam Paul Huf Award等国际奖项担任评委。他们曾受邀在TED中国、一席演讲。作品《盒子》获得2012德国卡塞尔国际视觉图书奖、美国Photo-Eye年度艺术图书奖。与此同时,彭杨军也是美国《时代周刊》特约摄影师,曾受到BBC、CNN、名利场、巴黎竞赛、赫芬顿邮报等国际媒体的关注报道。

Peng Yangjun and Chen Jiaojiao are currently the creative director and chief editor of the Outlook Magazine - China's leading creative lifestyle magazine - which has been awarded by the Society of Publishers in Asia with numerous prizes. Before that, they launched the Peng&Chen Studio in 2003, engaging in art creation, photography and publication creation. They worked as creative directors and chief editors for magazine COLORS under Italy’s Benetton FABRICA, the international creative communication center. They are the members of the China Design Exhibition committee, the jury for the Asian Pacific Photography Award, and guest speakers at TED x Shanghai. Peng&Chen studio was reported by BBC, CNN, Vogue (French version), Vanity Fair (Italian version), Paris Match (France), I-D (Britain), Marie Clarie (Italian version), D Republlica (Italian republican supplement newspaper), Rolling Stone (Italian version), Casa Brutus (Japan), Switch (Japan) and other international magazines. Their work piece "The Box" has been awarded with the Kassel international art book prize.

万玛才旦Pema Tseden

藏族电影导演,编剧,双语作家,文学翻译者。1991年开始发表文学作品,已出版藏文小说集《诱惑》、《城市生活》,中文小说集《流浪歌手的梦》、《嘛呢石,静静地敲》,翻译作品集《说不完的故事》、《人生歌谣》,法文版小说集《Neige》、日文版小说《寻找智美更登》等。作品被翻译成英、法、德、日、捷克等文字译介到国外。2002年开始电影编导工作,以拍摄藏语母语电影为主。代表作品: 《静静的嘛呢石》、《寻找智美更登》、《老狗》、《五彩神箭》。因其对故乡深入而细致的描述,使人们对西藏文化及其生存状况有了新的体认。文学及电影作品均荣获国内外多种奖项。

Born in 1969 in the Tibetan region of Amdo, Qinghai province. Pema Tseden is a member of the Chinese Film Directors’ Association, Chinese Film-makers’ Association and Chinese Film Literature Association. He studied in the Northwest University for Nationalities, Beijing Film Academy and Lu Xun College respectively. He holds a Master degree in Literature and Arts. Since 1991, he has published more than 50 pieces of short and medium-length novels both in Tibetan and Chinese. Some of his works have been translated into English, French and German among other languages. Published works mainly include Temptation, a Tibetan collection of short stories; Master in Tibet, a full-length biography; Never-Ending Tales, a lengthy translation work, the Chinese fiction series Dream of a Street Singer will also be published in this year. In 2002, he began his film career, the major works directed by him are The Grassland, The Silent Holy Stones and The Search etc. Both his literature works and his films won numerous awards.


王序Wang Xu

wx-design创意总监,湖南大学艺术与设计学院教授,华·美术馆执行馆长。1979年毕业于广州美术学院,1985年至1995年于香港担任平面设计师,1995年创立wx-design,2012年起开始担任华·美术馆执行馆长。是国际平面设计联盟(AGI)、东京字体指导俱乐部(TDC)、首尔国际字体艺术海报双年展(TYPOJANCHI)会员。作品曾荣获第17届捷克布尔诺国际平面设计双年展国际平面设计社团奖、第77届纽约艺术指导俱乐部年奖银奖、第4届与第5届莫斯科国际平面设计双年展金蜂奖、第81届纽约艺术指导俱乐部年奖银奖、绍逸夫国际设计比赛特别奖。多次担任东京字体指导俱乐部年奖、纽约艺术指导俱乐部年奖、法国肖蒙国际海报与平面艺术节、德黑兰国际海报双年展评委,并任2013年深圳GDC评审团主席。

Graduated from the Design Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1979. Worked in Hong Kong as a graphic designer during 1985 to 1995. Founded wx-design studio in 1995. Began to serve as the Executive Director of OCT Art & Design Gallery in 2012. Wang Xu is the member of AGI, Tokyo TDC, and TYPOJANCHI. His works have won numerous prizes such as: The Shaw Prize International Design Competition (Special Recognition Prize, 2003), The New York Art Directors Club 81st Annual Awards (Silver Medal, 2002), Moscow International Biennale of Graphic Design (Golden Bee Award, 2000&1998), The New York Art Directors Club 77th Annual Awards (Silver Medal, 1998), The 17th International Biennale of Graphic Design Brno (ICOGRADA Excellence Award, 1996). He was the judge of Tokyo TDC Awards (2014&2005), Shenzhen GDC (Jury President, 2013), HKDA Asia Design Awards (2009), The 9th Tehran International Poster Biennial (2007), ADC Annual Awards (2005&2001), The 14th International Competition Poster and Graphic Arts Festival of Chaumont (2003), The 19th International Biennale of Graphic Design Brno (2000). He has been invited to give speech internationally, and also curated exhibitions.


王一扬Wang Yiyang

服装设计师,女装品牌“ZUCZUG/素然”创始人。生于1970年。1992年毕业于上海东华大学服装学院。1997年至2001年受聘于陈逸飞先生,任“Layefe”品牌主设计师。2002年与朋友共同创立“ZUCZUG/”女装品牌。其中的“/”代表信息时代的无限可能。2004年于上海复兴西路开设“茶缸”店,开发“茶缸”设计系列,并参加英国伦敦V&A博物馆CHINA DESIGN NOW中国当代设计大展(2008),德国柏林Aedes画廊中国艺术家与设计师群展(2007),荷兰鹿特丹中国当代艺术、设计与建筑展(2006)。经过十多年的发展,ZUCZUG/已经成为中国本土最具代表性的时装品牌。平等、开放的品牌理念,适度设计的产品,明朗舒适,以微笑的普通女性而非职业模特为品牌形象。产品包括“Z”、“手语”、“零”、“蓝”及“extra”五个系列。2012年,ZUCZUG/品牌被《华尔街日报》中文版评选为中国年度创新人物奖。

Born in 1970, Wang Yiyang was graduated from the Fashion Design Institute of Donghua University in Shanghai in 1992. From 1997 to 2001, he was the chief designer of the brand “Layefe” of Mr. Chen Yifei. In 2002, he established the fashion brand of lady’s wear which named “ZUCZUG/” with his friends. The symbol “/” stands for the infinite possibility in the age of information. In 2004, the shop of “CHAGANG” was opened on the west Fuxing Road, Shanghai, and Wang began to design the series of “CHAGANG”, which participated in several international art and design exhibitions later on, such as “CHINA DESIGN NOW” in V&A museum (2008), group exhibition of Chinese artists and designers in Aedes Gallery in Berlin (2007), Architecture and Visual Art Exhibition in Holland (2006). After the development in these years, ZUCZUG/ has become the most representative local fashion brand in China. In 2012, ZUCZUG/ won the title of “Most Innovative Person of the Year” awarded by the Chinese version of Wall Street journal.


西川Xi Chuan

诗人、随笔作家、翻译家。1985年毕业于北京大学英文系,现为北京中央美术学院人文学院教授。系美国艾奥瓦大学2002年国际写作项目荣誉作家、纽约大学2007年附属访问教授、加拿大维多利亚大学2009年奥赖恩访问艺术家、香港浸会大学2010年访问作家、北京师范大学2014年驻校诗人。出版有《深浅》《够一梦》《小主意》等8部诗集、诗文集、《游荡与闲谈:一个中国人的印度之行》等3部散文随笔集、2部学术著作,以及编著4部、译著5部。曾获多种奖项,其中包括2011年上海《东方早报》文化中国十年人物大奖(2001-2011)。自1995年起,40余次受邀参加国际文学活动,旅及西欧、东欧、北美、南美、东亚、南亚、小亚细亚、北非等地。其诗歌和文章的译文曾发表于20多个国家的诗歌选集和报刊杂志。2014年,西川与印度小说家、布克奖获得者姬兰·德赛等4位国际作家出任国际笔会新声奖评委。

Chinese poet, essayist and translator. Graduated from the English Department of Beijing University in 1985. Previously an Honorary Fellow in Writing at the International Writing Program of the University of Iowa, USA (2002), a visiting adjunct professor at New York University (2007), an Orion visiting artist at University of Victoria, Canada (2009), and a visiting writer at Hong Kong Baptist University (2010), he is currently professor of Chinese literature at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and Poet in Residency at Beijing Normal University. Xi Chuan is one of the most influential poets in contemporary China. He has published six collections of poems, including: A Secret Convergence (1997), Roughly Speaking (1997), Selected Poems of Xi Chuan (1999), Depth and Shallowness (2006), Personal Preferences (2008) and A Dream’s Worth (2013), a travelogue: Wanderings and Chatting Words: a Chinese’ Passage to India (2004), two books of essays: Let the Masked Speak (1997) and Water Stains (2001), two academic books: A Guide Book to Foreign Masterpieces of Poetry (2001), and Big River with Big Bends: Poetic Thoughts for Possibilities (2012), in addition to a play My Heaven (2006). He has been awarded numerous awards and fellowships both at home and abroad.

雕塑家,中央美术学院教授,雕塑系副系主任。1988年毕业于山东艺术学院美术系,获学士学位。1992毕业于中央美术学院雕塑系,获硕士学位。作品曾多次参与国际与国内展览。在20世纪以来的中国现代雕塑发展过程中,塑人、为公共空间服务等外向性任务一直是现当代雕塑家的主要使命,而借助雕塑挖掘自身精神世界、表现精神诉求的雕塑家并不多见,于凡就是这类雕塑家最重要的代表人物。他对雕塑艺术形式的坚持,借用着色对雕塑形体的消弭,使他借助个体艺术实践触及到中国当代艺术家主体建构的问题和艺术语言的独立性问题。在“艺术家”风靡的当下,“雕塑家”于凡的创作给观念弥漫的当代艺术界提出了更多警示。他深入、超越、细腻、清新的雕塑作品将使他成为中国雕塑家最重要的代表人物之一。

Graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Art in 1992, Yu Fan is now the Vice Director and Professor of Sculpture Department of CAFA. In the modern development of Chinese sculpture in the 20th century, sculpting to serve for the public space and imitating the image of human beings has been the main mission of most modern and contemporary sculptors. Yu Fan is the representative of the few who view sculpture as a tool to explore the inner and spiritual world.
